Description Mark Pearson 2025-12-04 21:49:33 UTC
Doing open source compliance review for Lenovo's Fedora 43 WS preload and found that librdmacm package does not have a licence in /usr/share/licences.

Looking at the spec file, it seems the licenses are all in the rdma-core package - which is not in the default install image.
Can the Licence file be added to the librdmacm part of the spec file please?

Let me know if there's anything I can help with

Thanks
Mark

Reproducible: Always

Steps to Reproduce:
1. Install Fedora 43 Workstation edition
2. Confirm librdmacm is installed by default
3. Confirm librdmacm is not under /usr/share/licences

This was already fixed in bug 2315721, but only in Rawhide (rdma-core-59.0-3.fc44).

Ah - thanks. I thought I had covered this one before but didn't find the bug so created this one. Sorry for the noise.
Fingers crossed this shows up in F44.
I'll close this
