Description kotiuk 2025-12-08 18:38:32 UTC
1. Please describe the problem:

I tried to wake up my machine from Suspend, It took very long time (seen blinking `_` for several seconds and after finally resuming only laptop's built-in display turned on.

Machine Asus ROG Flow X13 GV301RE

2. What is the Version-Release number of the kernel:

Output from `uname --all`
Linux asus 6.17.9-300.fc43.x86_64 #1 SMP PREEMPT_DYNAMIC Mon Nov 24 23:31:27 UTC 2025 x86_64 GNU/Linux

3. Did it work previously in Fedora? If so, what kernel version did the issue
   *first* appear? Old kernels are available for download at
   https://koji.fedoraproject.org/koji/packageinfo?packageID=8 :

I don't know

4. Can you reproduce this issue? If so, please provide the steps to reproduce
   the issue below:

It already happened before

5. Does this problem occur with the latest Rawhide kernel? To install the
   Rawhide kernel, run ``sudo dnf install fedora-repos-rawhide`` followed by
   ``sudo dnf update --enablerepo=rawhide kernel``:

Don't know

6. Are you running any modules that not shipped with directly Fedora's kernel?:

Only changed grub config to avoid some problems with NVIDIA

```
$ cat /etc/default/grub | grep CMDLINE
GRUB_CMDLINE_LINUX="rd.luks.uuid=luks-80f353a1-feaa-4b06-8f0e-29decf91ad95 rhgb quiet rd.driver.blacklist=nouveau,nova_core modprobe.blacklist=nouveau,nova_core nvidia-drm.modeset=1 rhgb quiet"
```

7. Please attach the kernel logs. You can get the complete kernel log
   for a boot with ``journalctl --no-hostname -k > dmesg.txt``. If the
   issue occurred on a previous boot, use the journalctl ``-b`` flag.

Reproducible: Sometimes

It happened again. This time after resume I was able to open an app (Ferdium) and after a moment all of my screens went black. After several seconds I saw login screen and was able to reopen gnome session. This time secondary screen worked (but now I used display over USBC and integrated RTX3050TI instead of external RTX3080)

Dmesg Log USB C

This time external display works, but ir was connected using USB-C instead of DP.
