I have just tried to reproduce this bug in an i386 chroot environment with only the gimp packages from updates.testing, the rest from released packages and couldn't reproduce the problem. I see that there is a gtk2 update in updates-testing as well (2.10.12-2.fc7), if you have it installed, please try reproducing the bug with the released version (2.10.11-7.fc7) and report back. Oh... and please attach such large chunks of text in the future rather than pasting them into a comment. Thanks!
