Description of problem:
running with -version flag returns no actual version

Steps to Reproduce:
1. install grpcurl
2. run `grpcurl -version`

Actual results:
  grpcurl dev build <no version set>


Expected results:
  grpcurl build 1.9.3

Thanks for reporting. This should be fixed in commit https://src.fedoraproject.org/rpms/grpcurl/c/032d55c9c4aaddae159f75613799aa76b786c3ea?branch=rawhide and builds with the fix are running now.
