A flaw was found in the Linux kernel's Remote Direct Memory Access (RDMA) subsystem. A local attacker could cause a system crash, leading to a Denial of Service (DoS), by repeatedly attempting to modify a Shared Receive Queue (SRQ) under specific error conditions. This issue arises when a previous modification attempt fails, leaving a critical data structure in an invalid state, which then causes a system crash upon a subsequent modification attempt.
