Description Seideys 2025-12-25 16:31:45 UTC
I wanted to install Fedora 43 KDE on my new 100 GB partition of my SSD using my USB key with Ventoy. The installation goes fine at the beginning despite the timezone bug which isn’t a big deal but during the creation of my account when I try to set a simple password in the first box and then confirm it I get the message "password is too weak" and it crashes.

Reproducible: Always

Steps to Reproduce:
1. I write my password in the first box
2. I write again the password in the second box
3. The message appears "Password is too weak" and the installer won't continue.
Actual Results:
The installer crashes with the message "Password is too weak".

Expected Results:
It should continue normally.

Additional Information:
I saw there was already a post about this bug so this post will serve as a duplicate.
