journalctl -b 0 -k

1. Please describe the problem:
Camera is not detected

2. What is the Version-Release number of the kernel:
6.17.12-300.fc43.x86_64

3. Did it work previously in Fedora? If so, what kernel version did the issue
*first* appear? Old kernels are available for download at
   https://koji.fedoraproject.org/koji/packageinfo?packageID=8 :

4. Can you reproduce this issue? If so, please provide the steps to reproduce
   the issue below:

5. Does this problem occur with the latest Rawhide kernel? To install the
Rawhide kernel, run ``sudo dnf install fedora-repos-rawhide`` followed by
   ``sudo dnf update --enablerepo=rawhide kernel``:

6. Are you running any modules that not shipped with directly Fedora's kernel?:

7. Please attach the kernel logs. You can get the complete kernel log
   for a boot with ``journalctl --no-hostname -k > dmesg.txt``. If the
issue occurred on a previous boot, use the journalctl ``-b`` flag.

/sys/bus/spi/devices/ is empty:
$ ls -al /sys/bus/spi/devices/
total 0
drwxr-xr-x. 2 root root 0 Dec 29 10:45 .
drwxr-xr-x. 4 root root 0 Dec 29 09:51 ..

Comment 4 Hans de Goede 2025-12-29 13:39:09 UTC
This is a duplicate of bug 2413656, marking it as such.

See bug 2413656 comment 3 for a workaround.

I suggest filing an issue with Intel at:

https://github.com/intel/vision-drivers/issues

asking them to get the vision drivers merged into the mainline kernels to properly resolve this issue.
