The mcomix3 have a feature to scroll or pan large image with arrow keys or space bar. But fedora 43's version can't.


Reproducible: Always

Steps to Reproduce:
1.Create a image file of large size
2.Open that image file with mcomix3
3.Press arrow key of space bar
Actual Results:
nothing happen

Expected Results:
displayed image scrolls according to key stroke

Additional Information:
Scrolling with mouse wheel and panning with mouse drag are working properly.

The fedora 41's version was able to scroll and pan with keyboard.
I did not test with fedora 42's version.
Old version (0.41.D20211016git483f4b3.fc43) shows same problem.
Older version (0.40.D20211016git483f4b3.fc43 to 0.37.D20211016git483f4b3.fc43 with fixing /usr/lib/python3.14/site-packages/mcomix3/mcomix3/mcomix/sqlite3.py) shows same problem

I removed configuration directory ~/.config/mcomix/ and restart mcomix3. But the problem not changed.

I opened preferences dialogue and changes shortcut key for scroll down to Ctrl+↓ (<Primary>Down).  It works expectedly. But I can't back it to "Down" key. click the shortcut key (shows "New accelerator") and pressing ↓ do nothing.

FEDORA-2026-03904c682d has been pushed to the Fedora 43 testing repository.
Soon you'll be able to install the update with the following command:
`sudo dnf upgrade --enablerepo=updates-testing --refresh --advisory=FEDORA-2026-03904c682d`
