Change for python-lazy-object-proxy-1.11.0-5 none

Description Martin Wolf 2026-01-05 23:29:06 UTC
Please branch and build python-lazy-object-proxy in EPEL 10 and EPEL 10.1

A rebuild of python-lazy-object-proxy-1.10.0-6.fc42 works fine, if we disable the benchmarks (see https://github.com/ionelmc/python-lazy-object-proxy/blob/master/pyproject.toml) using "sed -Ei '/\b(pytest-benchmark|Django)\b/d' tox.ini", similar like for objproxies/hunter.

Comment 1 Gwyn Ciesla 2026-01-06 17:28:12 UTC
Even with that it fails for me;
DEBUG util.py:459: No matching package to install: 'python3dist(setuptools) >= 80'

Change for python-lazy-object-proxy-1.11.0-5

Yes, python-lazy-object-proxy-1.12.0-1 is too recent and fails like you mentioned.

Using python-lazy-object-proxy-1.11.0-5 however works as expected once the attached change is applied.

Comment 3 Gwyn Ciesla 2026-01-08 19:58:14 UTC
Ah, ok, thanks. I can no longer build for 10.0 but will get builds out for 10.1 and 10.2.

Comment 4 Martin Wolf 2026-01-08 20:07:22 UTC
Thank you!
