Description Nicolas Chauvet (kwizart) 2026-01-29 15:36:17 UTC
This failure was seen as part of the OpenCV-4.13 rebuild but pre-date this newer OpenCV as the mass rebuilt build failed also.

I find very hard to tell which tests did fail and attempted to disable only
 t/27-consoles-sshXtermIPMI.t t/27-consoles-vnc.t

As a workaround I've temporarily disabled the RC on meson test to pass the build (then reverted it).

Comment 1 Adam Williamson 2026-01-29 17:23:13 UTC
The mass rebuild succeeded, it was my last manual build that failed (but I didn't notice because I really only care about f43 at present). I'll look into it, thanks.

Comment 2 Adam Williamson 2026-01-29 17:37:42 UTC
Caused by https://bugzilla.redhat.com/show_bug.cgi?id=2435326 , fixed now, I'm doing a new build on the side tag.

You might have to manually tag the package into f44-updates-candidate as the side-tag was removed in-between.
I had the case for kstars that I've missed to build in the side tag.

Comment 4 Adam Williamson 2026-01-30 02:31:21 UTC
Hmm, now aarch64 (only) is failing elsewhere in the test suite. I'll look into it tomorrow.

Comment 5 Adam Williamson 2026-01-30 20:03:35 UTC
https://bugzilla.redhat.com/show_bug.cgi?id=2435534 is the cause of the aarch64 failure.

Comment 6 Adam Williamson 2026-03-18 21:41:28 UTC
So the initial aarch64 tesseract/leptonica bug is fixed but the tests still fail, I have not yet had chance to dig into why.

Comment 7 Adam Williamson 2026-05-22 01:27:09 UTC
OK, now I had time; it seems we can now revert the workaround in leptonica as the GCC bug got fixed, and that makes it behave properly on aarch64. I guess the workaround wasn't actually fully correct.

New leptonica builds coming for F44 and Rawhide, leptonica will be on a side tag with a new snapshot build of os-autoinst.

Comment 8 Fedora Update System 2026-05-28 18:43:37 UTC
FEDORA-2026-a72f110dcd (leptonica-1.87.0-4.fc44) has been submitted as an update to Fedora 44.

Comment 9 Adam Williamson 2026-05-28 18:44:36 UTC
Actually I ran into a weird issue with os-autoinst - https://progress.opensuse.org/issues/201516 - so I don't want to submit it yet. I've submitted leptonica alone for now, will add os-autoinst if/when I can figure out that other thing.
