This request was evaluated by Red Hat Product Management for inclusion in a Red Hat Enterprise Linux maintenance release. Product Management has requested further review of this request by Red Hat Engineering, for potential inclusion in a Red Hat Enterprise Linux Update release for currently deployed products. This request is not yet committed for inclusion in an Update release. No time now, low priority, bumping to 4.7. Init scripts have been fixed in the iprutils-2.2.7-2.el4 build, which has been tagged and built. Moving bug to MODIFIED. One thing that really eludes me is why the comment #0 tells stuff about rdisc init script (part of iputils) package but the bugzilla itself is assigned to iprutils package (not the same thing as iputils) and is also part of iprutils RHEL4.7 errata. OK, I decided to treat this bugzilla as an iprutils bugzilla. I don't know how important this is, but I think following line: exit $RETVAL should be added to the very bottom of: /etc/rc.d/init.d/iprdump /etc/rc.d/init.d/iprinit /etc/rc.d/init.d/iprupdate Other than that, the init scripts seem fine. Verified with iprutils-2.2.8-1.el5 An advisory has been issued which should help the problem described in this bug report. This report is therefore being closed with a resolution of ERRATA. For more information on therefore solution and/or where to find the updated files, please follow the link below. You may reopen this bug report if the solution does not work for you. http://rhn.redhat.com/errata/RHBA-2008-0697.html |
