Description of problem:

F7 will not mount or recognize IDE connected ZIP 250 disk.  The drive is seen as
sdb device.

Steps to Reproduce:
1.  Start installation with either DVD
2.  Select custom configuration for drives

Actual results:
Unable to select sdb for any purpose.  Error "Not a block device:.

Expected results:
Recognize 100 MiB media previously formatted vfat ( fat 16 ).

Additional info:
Zip media in gparted seen as 512 Bytes and the selection is greyed.  It cannot
be formatted or mounted.  This drive is needed to transfer files from
eComstation ( OS/2 ) to Linux on the same computer with a swappable hard drive bay.

Is the media writable?  What does dmesg say about the drive?

The media is not writable under Linux, but is writable under OS/2.
The drive is recognized as sdb, but the media is listed as 512 Bytes and
unallocated.  During startup, "starting udev" seems slow.  At this time, IDE 0
(both master and slave) are empty, IDE 1 has DVD recorder on master and ZIP 250
on slave.  SATA 1 has WD 250 GiB and is the boot drive.

Dmesg output is attached.

New information.  Since last posting, several updates have been applied and the
Zip 250 is recognized properly with the Zip 100 disk installed.  The media was
formatted with pure DOS.  It may be a quirk of my motherboard, but the Zip 250
had to be set as not installed in BIOS in order to boot up the system.  The
media can then be inserted and used properly.
