Description Akira TAGOH 2026-03-09 05:39:04 UTC
Super+space is assigned to activate/deactivate IME though, even if the focus is set to the search box in the desktop menu, it is immediately closed once pressing/holding Super key.

This behavior prevents typing something through IME on the desktop menu.

Reproducible: Always

Steps to Reproduce:
1.Make sure you have ibus and ibus engine (such as ibus-typing-booster) installed
2.Add ibus engine to the keyboard layout (search "Typing Booster" in the layout selection)
3.Open the desktop menu and press Super+space
Actual Results:
The desktop menu is immediately closed

Expected Results:
should keep open and activate or deactivate IME
