Description Jan Hutař 2007-06-26 11:05:57 UTC
Description of problem:
When default enabled account is disabled, it is still default.

Version-Release number of selected component (if applicable):
evolution-2.10.2-2.fc7

How reproducible:
always

Steps to Reproduce:
1. create email accounts A and B, both enabled, A is default
2. disable A account

Actual results:
A is still default account (appears in new mail,meeting... dialog as default)

Expected results:
B (or any other account) is marked as default

Additional info:
this seems to me like usability issue - it confused me a bit.

This is a long standing issue in Evolution. Let me redirect you to [1].

If you have some ideas on how to move the discussion forward please feel free to
contribute there. It seems the original author had a different idea of what
"disabled" means than pretty much anyone else. The issue was opened in 2003,
and as far as I can tell a clear consensus has yet to emerge.
