A flaw was found in the Linux kernel's `drm/amd/display` component, specifically within the `amdgpu_dm` module. When a display sink is connected, the `drm_edid` structure was overwritten without properly releasing the previously allocated memory. This oversight can lead to a memory leak when the system resumes, potentially impacting system stability and performance over time.
