Description of problem:

The killswitch error message is repeating every few seconds. This is way too much.

see if the error message frequency could be reduced to a reasonable level.

I get these all the time on a F-7 system too:

Running latest Rawhide (2.6.23-0.174.rc6.fc8), the message has morphed a bit:

fixed upstream for a while in 0.7; just committed a fix to upstream 0.6.x for
this as well
