A flaw was found in the Linux kernel's F2FS (Flash-Friendly File System) component. This vulnerability, a memory leak, occurs within the `f2fs_rename` function. A local attacker could exploit this by repeatedly performing file rename operations, leading to a gradual consumption of system memory. Over time, this could result in system instability or a denial of service (DoS) condition.

The root cause is in commit 40b2d55e0452 ("f2fs: fix to create selinux
label during whiteout initialization"), we added a call to
f2fs_setup_filename() without a matching call to f2fs_free_filename(),
fix it.
