This bugzilla fulfills open issue #1 above. This meets the criteria for inclusion during the beta. QE ack for 5.1. Since this is a bug in newly added functionality, it doesn't really need the exception, but I'll leave it to PM to clean up so we ensure it gets the right exposure. I installed the "RHEL 5.1 GA Snapshot 1". I donot see the updated version. In which version/release of RHEL 5.1 can I see the corrected megaraid_sas driver version? Sumant, this bugzilla state will go to MODIFIED when it has been committed to our CVS tree. Stay tuned. Included in patch for bug 245184 in 2.6.18-46.el5 You can download this test kernel from http://people.redhat.com/dzickus/el5 I checked the version # in the megaraid_sas driver in the test kernel. The version info (3.10) of the included driver is correct. An advisory has been issued which should help the problem described in this bug report. This report is therefore being closed with a resolution of ERRATA. For more information on the solution and/or where to find the updated files, please follow the link below. You may reopen this bug report if the solution does not work for you. http://rhn.redhat.com/errata/RHBA-2007-0959.html |
