I don't know where the log file is.
I am attempting to load Fedora on to an external drive of which Fedora will have total access.
Windows 11.  Asus X415.  External drive has 500GB

Katerina, not all of these are necessarily dupes; efibootmgr failing might be for different reasons on different systems. We *really* need at least journal.log to have any shot at diagnosing, though. And we should probably talk to pjones about whether efibootmgr can be made to provide any more useful information on failure.
