Description Jean-François Fortin Tam 2026-06-09 04:58:19 UTC
Firefox updates, as provided through Fedora's RPM package, never show a changelog in GNOME Software, unlike the Chromium package.

Reproducible: Always

Steps to Reproduce:
1. Launch GNOME Software
2. Visit the Updates tab when a Firefox update is available and click it for details, or search for Firefox and click "Version history" in the details page
Actual Results:
Every Firefox release says "No details for this release".

Expected Results:
It should show the changes for each release.

Will love to fix that but I don't know how. Patches welcome.

Comment 2 Michael Catanzaro 2026-07-11 20:40:18 UTC
GNOME Software should be displaying whatever the description of the update is in bodhi. If that's not happening, I don't know what's wrong.
