A flaw was found in Google Chrome. This vulnerability, a heap buffer overflow in the Graphics Processing Unit (GPU), could allow a remote attacker to escape the sandbox. To exploit this, the attacker would first need to compromise the renderer process and then trick a user into opening a specially crafted HTML page. Successful exploitation could lead to further compromise of the system.
