Description Isaiah Johnson 2026-06-26 15:03:38 UTC

Comment 1 Dave Dykstra 2026-06-30 19:49:37 UTC
Attacker-controlled container images are outside of the Apptainer thread model, so this vulnerability is not applicable. There are many easier, straightforward attacks that can be done if a container image is not trusted.

Comment 2 Dave Dykstra 2026-06-30 19:52:23 UTC
I meant threat, not thread

Comment 3 Dave Dykstra 2026-06-30 19:56:37 UTC
In addition, the flaw is in moby/moby/daemon, and apptainer doesn't even use that part of moby.
