This does not seem to have anything to do with the scsi-target-utils package. That package is for iscsi/scsi target mode (you can basically make your server serve up scsi data). Changing component to kernel. There hasn't been much activity on this bug for a while. Could you tell me if you are still having problems with the latest kernel?
