Please attach your X server config file (/etc/X11/xorg.conf) and X server log
file (/var/log/Xorg.*.log) to the bug report as individual uncompressed file
attachments using the bugzilla file attachment link below.

Could you please also try to run without any /etc/X11/xorg.conf whatsoever and
let X11 autodetect your display and video card? Attach to this bug
/var/log/Xorg.0.log from this attempt as well, please.

We will review this issue again once you've had a chance to attach this information.

Reporter, could you please reply to the previous question? If you won't reply in
one month, I will have to close this bug as INSUFFICIENT_DATA. Thank you.

Hmm. If still interesting, I shall attach those data. However, I just noticed
that  if I changed the resolution via said gnome config tool, nothing at all
happened (it just asked me to confirm that the display was still viewable). This
was after having suspended two times.

Could we get these data, please?

I will collect and admit the data, but i really really do not have time untill
next week, bogged down in exams i am.

Activating compiz, logged in-out. Switched resolution from Gnome menu. Black
screen, only mouse-pointer (it changed when i moved it around the screen from
pointer to text-marker). Wait 15 (?) secounds, resolution switches back by
itself. Still black. Mouse pointer dissapears when i hit alt-tab. Nothing
happens on desktop switch. VT switch successfull, but I only get back the black
screen. Attaching Xorg.0.log and xorg.conf.

This message is a reminder that Fedora 7 is nearing the end of life. Approximately 30 (thirty) days from now Fedora will stop maintaining and issuing updates for Fedora 7.
