SSH Agent servers do not validate the size of messages when processing new identity requests, which may cause the program to panic if the message is malformed due to an out of bounds read.

podman is not affected by CVE-2025-47914.

The vulnerability affects golang.org/x/crypto/ssh/agent and was fixed in v0.45.0.
The builds shipped in Fedora vendor golang.org/x/crypto v0.54.0, which includes the fix.
