Description rhel-process-autobot 2026-07-24 14:06:00 UTC
Notice: mod_security will be automatically retired from EPEL 10

This issue is purely informational and you do not need to take any action.Thank you for your work maintaining mod_security in EPEL 10. Red Hat considers this package important enough to promote it to RHEL. It is expected to be part of RHEL 10.3. Please do not update mod_security in EPEL 10 any further to ensure that the CentOS Stream and RHEL packages have a proper upgrade path.
In EPEL 10 or later, the package will be automatically retired on the leading distgit branch (e.g. epel10) shortly after the package is available in CentOS Stream.

This bug will be closed automatically once the retirement takes place.

This issue is purely informational, you do not need to take any action. Thank you for your work maintaining mod_security in EPEL 10. Red Hat considers this package important enough to promote it to official RHEL. It will be part of RHEL 10.3. Please do not update mod_security in EPEL 10 so the RHEL version can have a higher version and release. When RHEL 10.3 is released, EPEL automation will remove mod_security from EPEL 10 and close this bug.
