This vulnerability allows a remote attacker, without needing to authenticate, to exploit a weakness in how the software handles data structures with excessive nesting. This can lead to a StackOverflowError, which ultimately results in a denial of service (DoS), making the system unresponsive or unavailable.

A pre-authentication attacker could leverage type nesting to cause a StackOverflowError potentially leading to denial of service.

This issue affects Apache Qpid Proton-Dotnet through 1.0.0.
