Description Eric Hopper 2007-08-08 07:16:12 UTC
Description of problem:
Or, well, it sort of is, but not that has some sort of hiccup and it decides
that no, it should be a generic SCSI device instead.

How reproducible:

Every time

Steps to Reproduce:
1.Plug in device while tailing /var/log/messages

Actual results:
Messages in /var/log/messages indicating some kind of problem treating it as a
storage device.

Expected results:
Nautilus getting a message that it's been attached, automounting it and popping
a folder up on my screen.

Additional info:
It isn't the hardware. The hardware functions fine on my Powerbook.

Comment 2 Christopher Brown 2007-09-25 10:51:06 UTC
Hello,

I'm reviewing this bug as part of the kernel bug triage project, an attempt to
isolate current bugs in the fedora kernel.

http://fedoraproject.org/wiki/KernelBugTriage

I am CC'ing myself to this bug and will try and assist you in resolving it if I can.

There hasn't been much activity on this bug for a while. Could you tell me if
you are still having problems with the latest kernel?

If the problem no longer exists then please close this bug or I'll do so in a
few days if there is no additional information lodged.

Comment 3 Eric Hopper 2007-09-25 13:40:44 UTC
This was mysteriously fixed in a recent kernel. :-) So it can be closed.
Thanks for reminding me.
