Description Sam 2026-08-13 18:30:21 UTC
org.fedoraproject.Anaconda.Modules.Storage.UnsupportedPartitioningError: Device 'BTRFS-81ae9001-e8d3-4356-9868-0ee6cfee53c4' with mount point '/var' not found in devicetree. This indicates a configuration issue.
I believe it is because I set the var mount to a different drive partition that is causing this error. But when I reboot, it boots up correctly.

Reproducible: Always

Steps to Reproduce:
1.Run the graphical installer: Anaconda
2.change one of the mounts points of var to a different partition
3.When doing the actual install, error occurs.
Actual Results:
Got this error when installing:
org.fedoraproject.Anaconda.Modules.Storage.UnsupportedPartitioningError: Device 'BTRFS-81ae9001-e8d3-4356-9868-0ee6cfee53c4' with mount point '/var' not found in devicetree. This indicates a configuration issue.

Expected Results:
No error reported and should boot correctly.
