A flaw was found in the Linux kernel's fbdev broadsheetfb component. This issue arises when memory allocated for page references is not properly released during an error in the `broadsheetfb_probe()` function. This oversight could lead to a memory leak, potentially allowing a local attacker to cause system instability or a denial of service (DoS).

In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved:

fbdev: broadsheetfb: fix potential memory leak in broadsheetfb_probe()

The memory allocated for pagerefs in fb_deferred_io_init() is not freed
on the error path. Fix it by calling fb_deferred_io_cleanup().
