Description of problem:
Clicked add/remove software  selection from the applications menu.  After about 30 seconds received the error message which I saved to a file and will attach.  Running pirut froma a gnome-terminal window works correctly.

Version-Release number of selected component (if applicable):
pirut-1.3.9-1.fc7

How reproducible:
Always


Steps to Reproduce:
1.open applications menu
2. scroll down to add/remove software and click
3. wait for error message

Actual Results:
crash error message box

Expected Results:
package manager should have appeared

Additional info:
Running beryl, twinview, nvidia drivers

This is fixed with yum 3.2.4
