A flaw was found in Spring Framework. Applications using its FreeMarker integration may be vulnerable to a path traversal attack. A remote attacker could exploit this by providing untrusted input to a controller that returns a view name, allowing unauthorized access to files or directories when FreeMarker is configured to resolve templates through SpringTemplateLoader.
