I'm going to review this, assigning to myself.

Comment 2 Hans de Goede 2026-09-10 19:56:48 UTC
Full review done, some issues were found.

Must Fix issues found:
======================
* s/%changelog/%autochangelog/
* Drop "%global debug_package %{nil}" this is not necessary for a noarch package
* -devel packageDoes not install because of an arch specific Requires:
  Requires:	%{name}%{?_isa} = %{version}-%{release}
  while this is a noarch package
* Source URL is wrong and ends up in downloading the wrong file, it needs
  to have the weird -AU84 version postfix in the /v%{version}/ part of the
  URL. IOW its need to be:
  Source: %{url}/archive/v%{version}-AU84/%{name}-%{version}-AU84.tar.gz
* rpmlint correctly complains about:
  audioreach-conf.spec:70: W: libdir-macro-in-noarch-package devel %{_libdir}/pkgconfig/kvh2xml.pc
  since this is a noarch package the .pc file must be under /usr/share/pkgconfig/

Should Fix issues found:
========================
* IMHO the AU84 version suffix should be part of the N-V-R of the package,
  given the mess upstream is making here my suggestion would be to use:
  https://docs.fedoraproject.org/en-US/packaging-guidelines/Versioning/#traditional-versioning
  I think you can simply use:
  Release: %{autorelease}.AU84 for this purpose
