Description Chris Runge 2001-01-30 14:13:16 UTC
beta 3 (Fisher)

doing a graphical install (default) using NFS

I have a Microsoft Intellimouse Explorer hooked up to the USB port. However
it is detected as a 3 button PS/2 mouse (despite the fact that the USB
driver is loaded and the light on the mouse comes on--indicating that the
system is aware of it). The mouse doesn't work.

While trying to manually select the mouse using the keyboard I noticed some
odd behavior:
        - pressing + on num keyboard expands/unexpands only Genius
mouse types, even when cursor not located there
        - IntelliMouse (USB) choice missing (but I think this is present in
mouseconfig after the
	install)

even after selecting USB mouse, still doesn't work in the installer.
