> %build
> cargo build --release
This won't work, as cargo will try to download all the dependencies from the internet.
Fedora package builders intentionally run without without internet access.
Read the Rust Packaging Guidelines for information on how to properly package Rust code:
https://docs.fedoraproject.org/en-US/packaging-guidelines/Rust/

> %install
> rm -rf %{buildroot}
"The contents of the buildroot SHOULD NOT be removed in the first line of %install."
https://docs.fedoraproject.org/en-US/packaging-guidelines/#_tags_and_sections

> BuildRequires:  libappstream-glib
> [...]
> appstreamcli validate --no-net %{buildroot}%{_datadir}/metainfo/io.github._1kailas.AppNest.metainfo.xml
libappstream-glib provides the "appstream-util" executable, not "appstream-cli".
