Description Luya Tshimbalanga 2026-09-17 02:04:54 UTC
OpenVDB 13.1.0 has been released and introduces a shared-library
SONAME change:

libopenvdb.so.13.0 -> libopenvdb.so.13.1

This bug tracks the OpenVDB package update itself as part of the
coordinated transition tracked by:

Bug 2535782 - OpenVDB 13.1.0 SONAME transition tracker

The Fedora OpenVDB 13.1.0 build has been verified to provide:

libopenvdb.so.13.1()(64bit)

Target branches:

Rawhide
Fedora 45

This package must be built first in the respective transition side
tags before dependent packages are rebuilt.

Affected dependent source packages are:

OpenImageIO
luxcorerender
manifold
openvkl
usd
blender

Expected actions:

Update openvdb to 13.1.0.
Build it in the OpenVDB 13.1 transition side tag.
Run applicable tests.

libopenvdb.so.13.1()(64bit)

Make the successful build available in the side-tag buildroot.
Keep the build in the coordinated transition until the dependent
rebuilds are complete.

Build stage:
