A flaw was found in the `drm/sun4i` tcon component of the Linux kernel. The `of_find_device_by_node()` function takes a device reference that is not properly released after the multiplexer (mux) configuration succeeds. This improper handling of device references can lead to a resource leak, potentially causing system instability or a Denial of Service (DoS) over time due to resource exhaustion.
