I upgraded to kernel-2.6.22.5-49.fc6 and there has been some improvement: The SD card can now be mounted (by root) and accessed. It does not automount however as it did (and still does) under kernel-2.6.20-1.2962.fc6. (When running kernel-2.6.22.5-49.fc6 the device does not get initialized by selinux.) In var log messages I see (running kernel-2.6.20-1.2962.fc6): Sep 21 07:53:36 localhost kernel: mmcblk0: mmc0:2fee SD01G 1006080KiB Sep 21 07:53:36 localhost kernel: mmcblk0: p1 Sep 21 07:53:37 localhost kernel: SELinux: initialized (dev mmcblk0p1, type vfat ), uses genfs_contexts Sep 21 07:53:37 localhost hald: mounted /dev/mmcblk0p1 on behalf of uid 500 But running kernel-2.6.22.5-49.fc6 there is only Sep 21 08:01:57 localhost kernel: mmcblk0: mmc0:2fee SD01G 1006080KiB Sep 21 08:01:57 localhost kernel: mmcblk0: p1 (This is a mass-update to all current FC6 kernel bugs in NEW state) Hello, I'm reviewing this bug list as part of the kernel bug triage project, an attempt to isolate current bugs in the Fedora kernel. http://fedoraproject.org/wiki/KernelBugTriage I am CC'ing myself to this bug, however this version of Fedora is no longer maintained. Please attempt to reproduce this bug with a current version of Fedora (presently Fedora 8). If the bug no longer exists, please close the bug or I'll do so in a few days if there is no further information lodged. Thanks for using Fedora! Per the previous comment in this bug, I am closing it as INSUFFICIENT_DATA, since no information has been lodged for over 30 days. Please re-open this bug or file a new one if you can provide the requested data, and thanks for filing the original report! |
