Doc Text:
A flaw was found in MLflow's dspy flavor. The security control intended to prevent pickle deserialization is only enforced when the model file path ends with '.pkl'. This oversight allows a remote attacker to bypass the security control and execute arbitrary code by providing a specially crafted MLmodel artifact.

Description OSIDB Bzimport 2026-09-23 16:50:02 UTC
MLflow's dspy flavor, versions >= 2.0, applies the MLFLOW_ALLOW_PICKLE_DESERIALIZATION=False security control only when the model_path ends in .pkl, which allows a remote attacker to execute arbitrary code via a crafted MLmodel artifact.
