A flaw was found in the Linux kernel's iwlwifi wireless driver. When handling Wake-on-Wireless-LAN (WoWLAN) functionality, the driver fails to properly validate packet length values provided by the device firmware. An attacker with local access could exploit this integer underflow vulnerability to cause a system crash, resulting in a Denial of Service (DoS).
