A flaw was found in Apache Qpid Broker-J. An unauthenticated remote attacker could exploit this vulnerability by sending specially crafted messages with manipulated type size or count parameters to the AMQP (Advanced Message Queuing Protocol) decoder. This causes excessive memory allocation, leading to a Denial of Service (DoS) by exhausting available system resources.

Description OSIDB Bzimport 2026-09-25 08:22:24 UTC
A pre-authentication attacker could leverage type size/count handling to cause excessive allocation leading to potential denial of service.

This issue affects Apache Qpid Broker-J: through 10.1.0.

Users are recommended to upgrade to version 10.1.1, which fixes the issue.
