A flaw was found in the NVIDIA GPU display driver. A local unprivileged user can trigger an integer overflow in the driver's kernel mode layer, leading to an out-of-bounds memory write. Successful exploitation could allow an attacker to execute arbitrary code, escalate privileges, cause a denial of service (DoS), or tamper with sensitive data.

Description OSIDB Bzimport 2026-09-30 16:13:18 UTC
NVIDIA GPU Display Driver for Windows and Linux contains a vulnerability in the kernel mode layer where an unprivileged user could cause an integer overflow that leads to an out-of-bounds write. A successful exploit of this vulnerability might lead to code execution, denial of service, escalation of privileges, information disclosure, and data tampering.
