Doc Text:
A flaw was found in nvidia-driver. An unprivileged local attacker can trigger specific error-handling routines in the kernel-mode driver layer, causing memory to leak instead of being freed. Over time, this memory exhaustion can destabilize the operating system and result in a Denial of Service (DoS).

Description OSIDB Bzimport 2026-09-30 16:14:00 UTC
NVIDIA GPU Display Driver for Linux contains a vulnerability in the kernel mode layer where an unprivileged user could cause a memory leak in error paths leading to kernel memory exhaustion. A successful exploit of this vulnerability might lead to denial of service.
