A flaw was found in ImageMagick. An attacker can exploit this vulnerability by submitting a specially crafted image for processing. If a memory allocation failure occurs within the WBINFO decoder during image decoding, the application improperly accesses previously freed memory. This issue causes the application to crash, leading to a Denial of Service (DoS).

Description OSIDB Bzimport 2026-10-12 16:45:06 UTC
ImageMagick 7.1.2-30 before 7.1.2-32 contains a use after free vulnerability in the WBINFO decoder that occurs when a memory allocation fails during image decoding. Attackers can supply a crafted image that, when decoded under memory allocation failure conditions, causes freed memory to be reused, crashing the application.
