Disclaimer: Community trackers are created by Red Hat Product Security team on a best effort basis. Package maintainers are required to ascertain if the flaw indeed affects their package, before starting the update process.

A flaw was found in DPDK lib/vhost vhost-crypto. prepare_write_back_data() can fail after allocating a write-back node and before setting next to NULL. free_wb_data() then recurses on an uninitialized next pointer, which can hang or crash the host vhost-crypto process.
