Description Michal Jaegermann 2007-08-26 19:19:08 UTC
Description of problem:

Every time ldconfig runs it prints the following:

ldconfig: /usr/lib64/libgsm.so.1 is not a symbolic link

This is indeed the case; and even if files

/usr/lib64/libgsm.so.1
/usr/lib64/libgsm.so.1.0.12

are of an the same size of 44648 bytes they are not identical
("... differ: byte 42669, line 93"). ldconfig expects that it
will create /usr/lib64/libgsm.so.1 as a symbolic link to
/usr/lib64/libgsm.so.1.0.12.

The current version of sox depends on gsm.

Version-Release number of selected component (if applicable):
gsm-1.0.12-4.fc8

How reproducible:
always
