Description Avinash Hanwate 2026-10-15 10:54:19 UTC
Disclaimer: Community trackers are created by Red Hat Product Security team on a best effort basis. Package maintainers are required to ascertain if the flaw indeed affects their package, before starting the update process.

SSH servers parsing GSSAPI authentication requests do not validate the number of mechanisms specified in the request, allowing an attacker to cause unbounded memory consumption.

Comment 1 Steven A. Falco 2026-10-15 18:42:48 UTC
This is a false positive mapping. CVE-2025-58181 is a vulnerability specific to the Go SSH package (golang.org/x/crypto/ssh). The Fedora nng package is a pure C library and does not use or bundle Go's crypto package.
