A flaw was found in the Linux kernel's Intel Xe graphics driver. During device teardown, the driver fails to cancel pending background tasks before releasing associated device resources. A local privileged user could trigger this flaw by removing or unbinding the device while work is queued, causing a use-after-free condition. This issue primarily results in a Denial of Service (DoS) via a system crash.
