A flaw was found in Jenkins. The custom converter does not apply its deserialization filter to classes referenced by the `resolves-to` attribute during XStream deserialization. An authenticated attacker with read and configuration privileges can exploit this issue by submitting crafted XML configuration data to instantiate arbitrary types. Successful exploitation could allow the attacker to execute arbitrary code on the controller.
