Description TEJ RATHI 2026-11-03 07:37:58 UTC
Disclaimer: Community trackers are created by Red Hat Product Security team on a best effort basis. Package maintainers are required to ascertain if the flaw indeed affects their package, before starting the update process.

Vyper before 0.2.6 contains a call stack corruption vulnerability that causes incorrect function outputs when complex types with non-base members are passed as arguments. Contracts passing multi-dimensional arrays or structs to internal or external functions receive corrupted values because the compiler assumed each subtype size is 32.

Comment 1 Peter Lemenkov 2026-11-03 07:42:44 UTC
This was fixed upstream in vyper 0.2.6 (GHSA-4v7v-gqf9-ww2g / VVE-2020-0003, published 2020-10-10).

All Fedora releases ship vyper 0.4.3, which already contains the fix and is not affected.
